Hey folks, this is my about page.  I am somewhat of an enthusiast when it comes to the BMW R1200RT.  I have been riding for years, unfortunately, not on any BMW bike.  In the past I have owned the following bikes:

• Honda VFR700 (Both white and red)
• Honda ST1100 (Both black and red)
• Suzuki EX500
• Honda Shadow
• Honda Goldwing GL1600
• Honda CBR600

Dirt Bikes

• Honda CR250
• Kawasaki KX125
• Kawasaki KX250
• Suzuki DR100
• Yamaha IT200
• Honda XR500

Needless to say, I have ridden alot – both street and dirt.  My riding came to an unfortunate end in 1998.  No I did not get off, lose a limb, or anything like that – I had plans on starting a family and the wife thought it was best to sell the bike and get ready.  Did I agree with this, actually yes.

I noticed for several weeks my inner thighs began to hurt, no it was not from anything specific – other than clinching the tank with the expectation of going down on the pavement – hence, sell the bike asap.

OK – fast forward 2014 – I have wanted to get back riding for the past 10 years.  I would like to own an R1200RT.  I look all the time, but fear the consequence of actually making the purchase.  Whether it be the payment, the wife, the kids, or the unfortunate unmentionables, I have not pulled the trigger.

So in place, I felt as though I should blog about it, with the hope I get to ride something here and there.  I hope you enjoy the articles and pictures.  I have had the domain name for years, but really did nothing with it.  Now is the time to start writing….
